A 6-foot sand tiger shark was caught Wednesday night in Ocean City, N.J.
The fisherman, also known as "Shark Tony," was in a kayak about 200 yards off-shore near 58th Street beach when he caught the giant shark.
Witnesses say after a group of people gathered to look at the shark and snap some pictures, they released it back into the water.
Wildlife experts say swimmers should not be alarmed and sand tiger sharks are not known to attack people.
