Two dogs are dead and several cars are destroyed after a barn fire in Chester County.
The fire broke out shortly before 9 p.m. on the 1000 block of Providence Road in Willistown. When firefighters arrived, they say they found heavy flames and smoke coming from a barn.
Two dogs were killed in the fire and two cars inside the barn were destroyed. Officials say heavy wind and the bitter cold made it difficult for firefighters to fight the blaze. The fire was finally placed under control around 10:30 p.m.
Firefighters are currently investigating the cause. Officials say it doesn’t appear to be suspicious however.
