A man has been charged with murdering a woman and her son inside the Frankford home they shared.
Ron Larkin, 39, allegedly shot Dorothy Flora and Shane Ferguson after an argument at their home along the 4600-block of Leiper Street early Sunday morning, according to Philadelphia Police.
Neighbors reported hearing a loud argument before seeing a man -- believed to be Larkin -- speed away in a car.
Flora, 54, and her son Ferguson, 25, were later found by a family member who broke into the home after being unable to reach the woman. Both were shot multiple times.
Investigators say the shooting was the result of a domestic disturbance, but wouldn't elaborate as to what sparked the argument.
Ferguson leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter.
Larkin is in jail charged with murder and related offenses.
