The doctor accused of gunning down another doctor in Voorhees, New Jersey on Wednesday before killing himself, may be tied to the death of a woman he apparently worked with in North Carolina.
Shawna D. Givens, 35, was found dead in her Fayetteville, N.C. home on Wednesday.
The Camden County prosecutor tells NBC10 that Dr. Giocondo Navek and Givens were having relationship problems, but did not reveal the nature of their relationship.
On her Facebook page, Givens listed Womack Army Medical Center as her employer. Army officials at Ft. Bragg confirm to NBC10 that Navek began working there about a year ago, as a physician in the Acute Minor Illness Clinic.
Navek, 39, [pictured on the right] is accused of shooting Dr. Payman Houshmandpour to death on Wednesday morning, as Houshmandpour got ready to head to work at Virtua hospital in Voorhees.

A neighbor who says he witnessed the shooting called 911 and gave them Navek's license plate number. Police stopped him about a mile away from the murder scene and when they approached him, they say Navek shot himself to death inside his car.
After Navek killed himself, investigators searched a car in South Philadelphia and found information they say led them to believe Navek may be involved in something in North Carolina. According to the prosecutor, local investigators called Fayetteville authorities and found out about Givens death. Authorities there are waiting for an autopsy report to determine how she died. Neighbors told a North Carolina reporter they heard a brief commotion around 4:30 in the morning.
Houshmandpour, 32, was ambushed outside his home in Voorhees. Navek and Houshmandpour worked together at Virtua in Voorhees, although Navek had not worked there for about a year and a half.
Revenge may have been the motive behind the doctors' murder-suicide, according to the mother of Navek's former girlfriend.
Forogh Mozaffari said her daughter recently broke up with Navek. Mozaffari said Navek blamed Dr. Houshmandpour for what she says was his dismissal from the program at Virtua. The hospital has not commented on the reason for Navek's departure.
Navek also served as Philadelphia paramedic from 1997 - 1998.
